Office Design Team Maker Lounge _Founder and creator
I’ve always held a deep passion for cultivating joyful inspiration to counter potentially monotonous or narrow experiences - the culmination of this can be found in the Microsoft Office Maker Lounge. I have found that having outlets to express myself in mediums other than digital has served to to make my tech work more creative and complete. I wanted to find a way to bring this opportunity to our entire design team, so I created this ‘gigantic’ side project that I envisioned, sold to leadership, got budget and somehow found a way to create. It is a garage-style maker space with four-color poster and t-shirt screen printing, letter press printing, block printing, dye-sublimation printing and 3D printing equipment.
