Featuring Target Music & Microsoft Ohana
Oldies but goodies... Yes, these are old, just take a look all those jelly buttons, but they remain some of my favorites, so I put them here on the UX B-side for your listening pleasure. Give em' a spin.
Target Music
UX lead for the Target Music player
This was a fun opportunity to lead the design efforts of the player and contribute to the online music marketplace efforts as well, mainly architecting the purchase flow. I was working at LoudEye whom Target hired to create an online music marketplace and downloadable, iTunes-esque music player and purchasing interface.

Microsoft Ohana
UX lead for Notes and Lists
Collaborator on Calendar & Brand sponsors
Ohana was the grandmother of one of my other projects, HomeBase. Ohana was also attempting to organize the family with a calendar, sticky notes for reminders, to-do list, and a communication tool between family members. This was unfortunately before the advent of smart phones, but we were actually building a companion device to the app in the form of a seven-inch touchscreen organizer. Perhaps a bit before its time!
