Featuring Target Music & Microsoft Ohana
Oldies but goodies... Yes, these are old (just take a look at the visual treatments!), but they remain some of my favorites, so I put them here on the UX B-side for your listening pleasure. Give em' a spin.
Target Music _UX lead for the Target Music player
This was a fun opportunity to lead the design efforts of the player and contribute to the online music marketplace efforts as well, mainly architecting the purchase flow. I was working at LoudEye whom Target hired to create an online music marketplace and downloadable, iTunes-esque music player and purchasing interface.

Microsoft Ohana
UX lead for Notes and Lists, collaborating designer on Calendar and Brand sponsors
Ohana was the grandmother of one of my other projects, HomeBase. Ohana was also attempting to organize the family with a calendar, sticky notes for reminders, to-do list, and a communication tool between family members. This was unfortunately before the advent of smart phones, but we were actually building a companion device to the app in the form of a seven-inch touchscreen organizer. Perhaps a bit before its time!
